Orion Lawyer, also known as Avrilune - a musical project, born out of a desire to connect with people through sound - is a gifted singer/songwriter known for his fun brand of bedroom pop that combines rock and electronic influences. Growing up in a musical family, he was inspired by his father, listening to a mix of classic and contemporary artists like Bruce Cockburn, Chet Atkins, Billie Holiday and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Later, artists like Still Woozy, In Love With A Ghost, Wallows and The Backseat Lovers continued to shape his love for piano, synthesizers and lo-fi sounds. In 2022, he saw the release of his first single "LIMBO" ahead of the arrival of his freshman album "EGO", due to release in 2023. Recorded in his bedroom in Sacramento, California, the album is dedicated to his story of battling to find a balance of having too much ego and often not enough. It's a capsule of struggling through times of hubris and humility, and everything else that happens in life in between.
